Condom Slip on Withdrawal and Genital Contact on Linens

Condom Slip on Withdrawal and Genital Contact on Linens

I am a male and had heterosexual intercourse with a female with a condom. After I climaxed, I withdrew, and the condom slid off a bit. It was still covering most of my penis, it just slid a bit off the
shaft. Am I at risk for any HIV?

Afterwards, I received a back rub on the bed lying on my stomach, with my bare penis on the bed sheets. There was likely contact with my penis head / urethra on the bed sheets. The female did produce a fair amount of vaginal fluid during intercourse, which may have contacted the bed sheet and thus my penis. Am I at risk for any HIV from lying on the bed?

No, there is no risk here, either from the partial condom slippage or the contact with bed sheets.  If HIV could be transmitted by such indirect contact with bedding or contamined clothing, it would be far more common than it is and not classified as an STD.

No worries from this sort of event, even if your partner had HIV -- and if you live in the US or in another industriazed country, almost certainly she did not.

Thanks for your assistance.

What if after climax and and penis withdrawal, the condom slips entirely off. Does that pose more of an HIV infection risk?

Protection is complete if the condom is in place when the penis is in the partner's vagina or rectum.  What happens after withdrawal, or during withdrawal, of course doesn't matter.

You came here for reassurance.  I gave it.  Based on your description, you really were not at signficant risk here.  You do not need testing for HIV on account of this event.

I won't have any further comments.  Best wishes.
