Condom Slippage during WOT

Hi All,

I had a protected/partially protected vaginal sex with a sex worker in Indonesia. What happened was I ejaculated during woman on top (WOT) position. And then she stood up, and I was horrified to find out I was condomless. Quickly searched for it and found it inside her vagina with my sperm still inside the top of the condom, no breakage. Most definitely my penis shrunk immediately after ejaculation and thus slipped out of the condom when she stood up.

In this forum, people and even the doctors always say that the probalility of getting HIV from unprotected vaginal sex with a female with HIV+ is 1:1000? Why is this the case? If the HIV virus was in her vagina and it touched my urethra, doesn't it mean I already contracted the HIV, and thus I am most definitely got the virus.

I was worried sick and helpless being in Indonesia where the major cause of newly HIV infection is through unprotected sex and that 1 in 20 sex worker is HIV+.

I am so depressed with sleepless night. I will do the test again once window period lapses. Your comment and help is really appreciated. Thanks

You lost the condom because you didn't hold on to the base when she got up. You were not at risk.

Just want to add a ibit more info. She didn't immediately got up after I ejaculated. She sat on me for about one-two minutes.

If my penis was condomless inside her vagina for one minute but without any motion or abrasion, do you reckoned I may still get contracted by HIV virus this way?

considering the fact that your ejaculate was inside the condom, seems your condom was on til the end.

i agree with teak...the condom came off during withdrawal...a common occurance when men dont hold onto the condom when pulling out.

Initially, I thought that was the case. But at first, I was having difficulties finding the condom since it was fully embedded inside her vagina. Even she had to put two fingers in to fish for it.

My question if you have any knowledge about it is:
why people and even the doctors always say that the probalility of getting HIV from unprotected vaginal sex with a female with HIV+ is 1:1000?

Doesn't it if we have genital contact unprotected, then the HIV virus would surely transmit through genital fluids, im my case penetrated into my urethra or my soft foreskin?

use common sense here.  your penis was inside her vagina...it was full of your ejaculate.

That is exactly the point why I worry so much.
What I found that time was condom was deep in her vagina and could not be seen from outside at all, my penis immediately shrunk to normal state after ejaculation (always happened to me).

Then what happened next was really the unknown, either condom slipped inside her vagina after my penis shrunk, which would make me condomless for one minute.
Or it slipped when she got up.

Either way all of these give me so much emotional distress...For sure I will get tested after the window period. But until then I just want to ease a little bit of my pain and get some opinion of  experienced people here at medhelp

Sorry, just want to add, of course I got some symptoms such as sore throat, rash, night sweat, but I know these things are very unreliable so I didnt bring it up.
They just add to my stress so much .... :(

per your post...there was no thrusting going on after ejaculation...she just sat there.  your penis doesnt just fall out of a condom ! ! !

Those words were my reasoning to make myself feel a lot better.
Yes, there was no thrusting, she just sat there. So you reckon even if my penis shrunk to its smallest state and few cm to the condom base, it would not just fall out of the condom?

I somewhat agree with you on the above. It's just the fact that the condom was so deep her vagina made me think that it could have fall out before she got up. If the condom lost during withdrawal, I think there should be few cm of condom base hanging out in her vagina lips.

it can happen either way...lost or hanging out.

from the details you have described...i dont feel that you were at risk or need testing...but that decision is up to you.

for anyone who actually had a risk...they can test at 6-8 weeks post exposure for a good indication of their status...but it needs to be followed up at 3 months for a conclusive result.

I truly hope it can lost inside a vagina, not just hanging out. Never had a lost condom or slippage during withdrawal before, this would be my first and last time with a WP period.
