Condom Slipped - Pls advise.

by plshelptobeinpeace, Jul 23, 2008 06:07AM
I have a very serious question and would appreciate if you can respond at the earliest.

2 weeks ago, I went to a sex worker. The woman did put a condom on me. We performed sex in various positions.  The last position we performed was "Doggie Style" (sorry for the vulgar language). Now, before I thrust into her for a few minutes, I saw that my condom was on, but half way off ... after I thrust a few times I ejaculated inside of her.  Afterwards I withdrew, but noticed that the condom was not on when I withdrew.  I am  Not sure if the condom slipped off when i withdrew or when I thurst into her from behind (doggie style - not anal) and the condom slipped off inside of her when I was thrusting. But I could see that the condom was inside her when I withrew, I could see my siemen dripping out of that. Now I did read many forums to find out the symptoms & many said that you get a fever after 2 to 3 weeks. I was not worried till now but I have catched cold & ' am taking paracetamol for last one day; I' am feeling better now but ' am really terrified & stressed with the fear of HIV infection. I was divorced one year back & this is the first time I had sex with CSW...i know i did a stupid mistake & have vowed not to go to CSWs in future.

My question is; what are the chances that I contracted HIV or some other STD from this one time stupid encounter?

Hey the same thing happened to me man. Your risk is pretty low from a one time exposure like 1 in 2000 for the risk of catching hiv. Look whatever you do dont go reading about HIV AGAIN HIV. You will have every symptom in the book trust me. It really sounds like when you pulled out the condom slipped off at that point. It will not hurt you to go and talk with your Dr and let him know your fears. My dr put me on doxycycline. Sorry to inform you but you will have to wait 3 months to get a conclusive result for hiv if it helps I stopped testing at 84 days and I moved on. DONT READ INTO EVERYTHING YOU READ
