Condom breakage

Hi,

I am 30 year old male in Canada. About 40 hours ago, I had an encounter with an escort. We engaged in unprotected oral sex and protected vaginal sex. During vaginal sex, however, I felt the condom break and pulled out as soon as possible. (I was inside for less than 5 seconds, maybe 1 thrust or 2 at the max) I didn't think too much of it at the time, got another condom and went back at it.
Now that my big brain is functioning again, I am worried. I called the agency to ask when she got tested. They told me last time she was tested was 1 month ago and she was clean. (Last time I got tested was 6 months ago and I was clean too) I know that the odds are with me with regards to HIV but that doesn't erase my worry completely.
Should I go see a doctor and ask for PEP? I read that PEP is effective within 72 hours of possible exposure?

nPEP is not like taking an asprin. The guidelines are if you were to have an exposure to someone KNOWN to be HIV positive.

I don't qualify for nPEP because my exposure risk isn't high enough? If so, does it mean I don't have to lose sleep over this unless a conclusive test proves otherwise?

You don't qualify for nPEP. You can test 3 months post exposure for a conclusive test result.
