I got some of these the last time I went past Terrence Higgins Trust. . Didn't know such things existed as I've never seen them in the shops (not that I was looking as I don't get sexed that often).
The Pasante 'Unique' ones come in a neat credit card sized holder, which is safe to keep in wallets, unlike regular latex condom packets which tear after a while. I've some condom cases which were distributed at an event I was at were donated by Gaydar chat but it's easier to forget the condom case than my wallet going by my experience several weeks ago.
I've a latex allergy - my hands developed a rash after using non-powder gloves ( I asked ARCO specifically for non latex gloves) which spread to my feet through scratching them - combined they looked like a secondary syph lesions.
Though I only suspected a latex rash the nurse doing my bloods the other day had put on a plaster noticed another plaster from a medical a couple of weeks ago and took it off to reveal a rash. He asked if I had a latex allergy, I didn't realise there was latex in plasters. He took off the one he had put on and the area was inflamed in a plaster shape already after a minute.
Thing is I can't recall ever having had a reaction from latex condoms, are they hypo-allergenic or something? I've read of 'low protein' gloves, are latex condoms low protein or is the protein in the powder in gloves?
I guess the non-latex are as good as latex condoms? I don't do anal so lubricants aren't an issue.
Should I bother with dental dams for giving cunnilingus? Guess though HIV is extremely low risk Gon, Syph, Chlamydia, thrush are hazards.
