Confused about results? HELP PLEASE!

Hey my name is Edward and i am a 19 year old male....
for the past few months i have been worrying about my HIV test results.
i got a 1.0 result, but i also know the cut off is 1.0 as well... i got tested exactly 90 days after my sexual encounter.
it was with a 18 year old female.... what does this mean if i got a 1.0 result, and the cut off is 1.0?
my doctor told me when he gave me the results not to worry and that it means negative but i've been on the internet and reading other peoples articles have made me a bit confused. please help...

Negative means negative and the cutoff values don't matter. Stop worrying and congrats on your conclusive negative!

my result said this exactly.
1.0 equovical, what does this mean?
i read that i need to get re-tested at 6months, but if i got tested at 12 and a half weeks does this still mean negative?
