Confused and Desperate his and fisting

Sent by Sanguineless Jan 05, 2015
Dear Members, I have a concern re Hiv and std transmission.

In short, I am a male who several weeks ago received oral sex (protected) and was anally fisted for 10 mins (gloved) by a female Asian sex worker in Australia. About 14 days later I developed penile irritation, no discharge and some anal itchiness. I was travelling overseas at the time and was given 1g azithromycin by a doctor in case symptoms developed. I took this medicine as a precaution. 7 weeks have now passed since this contact, and I have had two colds (at 4 weeks, then again at 6 weeks), and continued urethral 'strangeness, vague aches and pains' but no discharge or other symptoms, no fever but sweats for 3 days, vey mild irritated itchy throat for last few days.,  Can you pse advise:
1. Re the fisting, If the glove was faulty could her fisting my anus have passed on an Std in particular HIV (if she was  positive - not known)? Again I saw her remove the glove afterwards but am freaked it may have been faulty, or she started insertion and then put the glove on later.
2. Also if she hadn't worn a glove is there stil any risk?

Hyper paranoia has now set in, as there has been much reporting in Australia about massage parlour usings unregulated ie unscreened girls from China

I have a wife and am now concerned I may gave infected her with our recent intercourse, despite my best efforts to practice safe sex. (Issue of morals of the whole episode aside).

Have I put myself and more importantly my wife at risk for hiv? Do I need testing?

I realize that you are not a doctor but dr hook and hansfield rarely if ever contradict Lizzie !ou or Teak.

Thank you for your time. Greatly appreciated.

Isn't this the 2nd time you've posted.
I think people said what you did was no risk.

You can imagine a million scenarios.  And come up with one, I'm sure, by which you could say yep, maybe HIV could be transmitted that way.  But you haven't' described one.

If your concerns persist, the best thing to do is get a 4th gen HIV test.  Then when its' negative, you can put your fears to rest.

If you haven't had an HIV test, then everyone who is sexually active should have one regularly, any way.

Be well
