Could hives be an early symptom of HIV?

About 5 months ago I had unprotected sex several times with an 18 year old caucasian girl.  She has a history of drug use and is fairly promiscuous.  Since then there have been 3 separate occasions in which I have broken out in hives, big splotches that appeared on my torso.  The first breakout was a few weeks after intercourse.  I have never had hives before.  I had the flu once about a month ago, and recently have been feeling fatigued with chills and night sweats.  I am most worried about the hives, I had a breakout last night.  Could the hives be an early symptom of HIV??

Test for HIV.  You are past the 3 month mark, which means a test result would be conclusive.
