Could it be ARS

I had protected vaginal sex (I'm a woman and have genital herpes) with a man on 5/19.  This is week 3 and for the past two days I have felt horrible...chills, sweating, muscle/joint aches, extreme neck pain, shoulder pain  and lower back pain.   The first night I had the above but no fever until last night when the fever went as high as 101.4 but went down a few hours later to 99.4.  It is now normal.  I noticed that I have a a slight red dot rash my arms and on my inner thighs and calves which doesn't itch.  I have a cough but produce phlem and my nose is running a bit.  The only pain I am now experiencing is neck pain that spreads down my back when I hang my head down.  Does this sound like ARS?  I'm really worried.

You didn't have a risk for HIV. With out having a risk you can't have ARS. Now move on.

Yes, it is not HIV.. It may be CMV, MoNO, Herpes 1, or maybe infection with Herpes 2, intial infection .

No HIV, good luck.

I don't know why I am being warned.  My concern is serious.  While it was protected, I'm experiencing a serious condition which could be ARS.  Since the May 19, 2008 protected event, on 6/12 (3 weeks later)  I came down with muscle/joint aches and neck pain but no fever.  The following day 6/13 same thing but with a fever 101.4 and a small rash on inner thigh.  6/14 woke up and rash had spread to both legs/inner thighs down to the knees and calves and also to both arms nothing on the trunk of my body...fever 99.1.  Since then the rash has subsided substantially but is still apparent but no fever.  I am extremely concerned that it could be ARS.  So please do not think that I am overreacting.  I'm a mess.  Please anyone, are these symptoms consistent with ARS???

The reason for my concern is that after sex, I noticed that he put on the condom all the way and didn't leave room at the tip for the semen.  When I looked at his  penis with the condom still on, I noticed that there was semen squished on the head of his penis and also squished along the side of his penis.  I also noticed bodily fluids above the condom which he said was me.  He was sure that all his semen was in the condom but I'm still worried.  So I though that there could have been a chance that his semen came out of the condom.  And now with all the above symptoms coming 3 weeks after that is why I am concerned.  I sorry if I seem irrational but and quite concerned with this rash, etc.
