Six months ago, I was diagnosed with microscopic hematuria (microscopic amounts of blood in urine). The doctor did a number of tests to check for kidney stones, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, etc. and came back with nothing. The cause remains unknown but he checked for major problems and let me go.
I am now suddenly wondering if this could be due to HIV. I have never had sexual contact with anyone except my wife and she is the same way. However, I have been regularly going to therapeutic massages for years. A week before the doctors diagnosed with hematuria, I had a massage in China (on a trip there) at a big hotel I was staying. After massaging me, she asked if I want my penis massaged. I told her no and did not let her do it. I am wondering if she could be an infected person, and could have given me infection (I have no open wound on my body but she did give a hard massage and it is possible her nail bit my skin or something like that). The next day when I was flying back on the plane I felt feverish and sick - I also felt tremendous amount of guilt that the person who massaged me gives handjobs, although I told her no when offered. I felt severe remorse and I thought that was making me sick. After one week when I went for an annual medical, they diagnosed me with hematuria and they also found by WBC count slightly higher than normal. Is there any possibility that I may be infected with HIV?
