If you believe you have been exposed to HIV and want help to judge your risk, would like advice about HIV testing, or have questions about the effectiveness of condoms or risks associated with specific sexual practices, this is the site for you.
My question is .. could this be a sign of HIV or could my infected ears have caused this swelling for some time??
I've always had a sore throat on and off for the past month, but that could be due to the enviornment I'm currently in. Also, a little bit of sinuses. And a somewhat low body temperature .. around 97.5-98.3.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I know you can never be sure until you physically go to the doctor, but any ideas would be really great. I'm really worried.
Your risk 3 years ago is too low to be considered as a significant risk. Moreover, lymph node enlargement caused by hiv is often found all over the body(neck, armpit, groin) but not just one spot. I think there is very high chance that the swollen lymph node beneath your ear is caused by your infected ears rather.
Very very extremely low risk activity. And then you are not exposed to any kind of risk whatsoever. Relax and calm down. You do not have HIV. See your doctor for the problems you mentioned, definitely not because of HIV but other reasons
