Cut by Knife - What are the risks?

Hi, I'll try to make this short, What's the risk of getting infected in the following situation:

Someone is using a sharp knife, this person gets a cut and then washes the knife. 5 minutes later, Someone else uses the same knife and gets a deep cut. Would the second person be at risk even if the knife was washed? Another question: Would washing the knife only with water would kill the virus?

Thank you, and sorry for any mistakes.

The virus is only contained in fluids. If there is no blood on the knife, than there is no HIV. HIV is a fragile virus. It cant survive exposed to the air. Thats why it is hard to transmit.
