Cut finger and risk

by bklyngirl, Feb 19, 2007 12:00AM
Hi,

I just wanted to see if this I am indeed at risk.  I cut my finger with a knife--it was a pretty good gash, although it didn't warrant stitches-- about 3 or 4 days later, while I was hooking up with a guy, he ejaculated, and I believe some of his semen came in contact with my cut finger.  Should I be concerned about a possible HIV risk?

Thanks for your time.

No risk.  Nobody ever got HIV by this sort of contact; cuts have to be fresh and bleeding to be any risk at all.
