Cuts and HIV infection

Hi, I recently got a cut on my finger (monday) and fingered a girl friday. The cut was superficial, bled a bit when I got it on monday. Did not not bleed after a hour or so after I got the cut, was healing all week long, just obviously still noticeably healing and there on friday, but never bled again after that monday or produced puss. I fingered a girl friday, whats the risk? Thanks!!!!!!!!!

No risk, even if the cut was open it would not have been deep enough to cause an infection. Being that it was days after the cut (it could have just be minutes in terms of risk) the cut was healed and no risk.

cuts start healing from the inside out shortly after the injury.

no one has ever been infected with hiv from fingering...regardless of minor cuts on their finger.  you wont make history by becoming the first to do so.

hiv can only infect a very few, very specific types of cells. these cells are not found in your finger. if you had a cut on your finger larger enough, open enough and bleeding enough to be a real pathway to cells that hiv CAN infect, believe me, you wouldn't be sticking it into some woman's vagina.
