Dating a HIV poz person

I am wanting to date a friend of mine that is HIV poz.  I really like this person but the fears of HIV are always on my mind.  I will do everything to keep from coming in contact with bodily fluids.  What are my chances of contracting HIV? and is it common for HIV neg and HIV poz people to date/marry??

This is the HIV prevention community. The Dr's will not answwer questions here. IF you want an answer from a Dr you have to go to the experts forum and pay yhe fee.

On to your question; First and foremost HIV+ people are jsut that people. They will have the same hopes, fears and dreams likse anyone else. Good for you for seeing beyond HIV and not letting it define either you, your friend or your new relationship.

It is correct of you to think seriously about protecting your status as HIV is preventable. If you use condoms correctly each and everytime you have sex you will avoid HIV infection.
