Delayed seroconversion by HCV?

Hello!

I am quite confused as I found information about health care workers who had a co-infection of acute HCV and HIV and they seroconverted only at about 12 months.

I'm worried now that I may have the co-infection as I have some symptoms that can be due to both HCV and HIV.
I do not know the status of my partner and I am also aware that HCV transmits through sex only in very rare cases.
However, there may have been some blood and that is why I am very scared of the co-infection.

I have not made a HCV test.

I did HIV test at 12 weeks and it was negative but can I be sure that it is conclusive? Does acute HCV delay HIV seroconversion?

Please guys help. I'm really living a nightmare.

I know that I have been repeatedly told that I had no risk but as the joint pain continues and I still have the swollen glands in my armpits, it is not easy to believe.

However, I wanted to thank you for your support. I just came back from the lab with 12 weeks post exposure negative results and decided to do as you have told me to do - move on.
