Dentis wore no gloves while gum was bleeding

Hi doctors,

I am rather worried. On the weekend my gilrfriend went to the dentist. He gave her two fillings and pulled one tooth and in the process butchered her gum quite severely and there was quite a lot of bleeding. He did not wear gloves while pulling her tooth.

Now, if he did not wear gloves while working on her mouth then I assume that there were other instances with other patients where he also did not wear gloves.

Is my gf at risk of having contracted anything, specifically HIV? Should I put her on ARVs in order to prevent HIV infection? I do not know if whether or not the dentist had any cuts on his hands.

NO it would not been transmitted from his hand to hers, but I would not go back to that dentist, thats gross and unsanitary.
