Diabetics and window period

Diabetics and window period

I am going through this forum to get an answer for window period if a person is diabetic. Many and Drs say in this forum that 6 weeks in definitive for a normal person. I am really confused if the test was negative for a diabetic peron at six weeks can be same as normal person and can he relax.

Thx.

Diabetes makes no difference in regards to the window period.

Diabetics are "normal" people, BTW.  They are normal people who happen to have diabetes.

Teak,

It seems from this from your more active and experienced. I agree that 3 months conclusive. My question is a diabetic person getting tested negative at 6weeks can he trusted and relax or the diabetic aversely affect the window period or seroconversation. I had a exposure and I am diabetic and my 6 weeks come by next week.
