Do I have HIV

Dr.

I had unprotected vaginal sex during lap dance in club and it's about 3.5 weeks now. I have congestion in nose and some soar throat but absolutely no fever (checking regularly for last 1 week).

I am concerned because I had some rash on my hand a week before but went away after applying ice pack.

My exposure was brief, it was during lap dance and took it off as soon as I came.

Please advice if I am at risk.

Thanks

Actually, most people DO have some kind of sex during lap dances, that is the whole point, and there IS a risk in having any kind of sex with strippers who've had all kinds of things smeared on them throughout their shifts. I've only had 2 0r 3 lap dances in my life without being offered "extras". Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't, but I am aware of my risks.

Read what I wrote about symptoms.

It was a valid question I asked. Most people do not have sex during a lap dance.

How do you apparently have sex? You either know that you had sex or you didn't.

Symptoms are meaningless.

So during the lap dance you actually had sex with her?

Test 3 months post exposure for a conclusive result.
