Do I need to take another test

Do I need to take another test

Dear All,

I am a guy from Hong Kong. I had a protected sex with a sex worker in Mainland China. After that I got lots of symptions like muscle pain on my neck, chest, tinging pain on my finger and feet happening after 3 weeks of that incident. At 6 weeks time, I found there are some swollen lymph node on my neck-left side and chin and there are still there (now is 12 weeks already). Am I a high risk if that sex worker is Hiv +?

At 10 weeks time, I had a blood test in a private clinic and the result turn out negative. The doctor said the result is conclusive even though I told him that I still have 20 days to go for the window period (it is 3 months in HK). Do I have to test in 13 weeks again? As those symptions are still there, I am worried that what blood test they are using and whether my anti-body have not come out yet. Please advise me.

You didn't need to test in the first place.
You had protected sex.
Test all you like, but I guarantee you that your tests will return negative:)

If you have protected sex so you are not at any risk.
There is nothing to worry about in your case, and you can trust your 10 weeks negative result.
