Do I still need to concern? Still Stress.

Do I still need to concern? Still Stress.

Dr HHHH. I am 45 year male at Texas. I visited several forum and see they all said there is no risk. But I still can’t let it go due to windows period concern.
This is my situation:
About 8 weeks ago, I visited massage place, during session, I made girl naked and grinding my pennies on her virginal about few seconds. Maybe I had been very pain time 5 years ago, I waked up and didn’t do any further stupid things. I tested  3 weeks Full panel STD, 4 week Syphilis and HSV again. 5 week Oraquick finger stick  HIV1/HIV2, 7 week Oraquick Swab HIV1/HIV2, all negative. My questions,
(1), do I still need to test 8 week and 12 week HIV?
(2), Does rapid test has same accuracy as regular blood draw test? Any window period difference?
(3). Do I still need to concern STD such as  Syphilis and HSV?
(4). Known there is no test for HPV, Do I need to concern after 8 weeks no any sign?
Thanks

As you were informed on the community forum:  the exposure carried no risk, even if your partner had HIV, which almost certainly she did not; and your test results are valid, proving you didn't catch HIV. Here are 2 threads that explain why HIV and STDs are not a risk for this kind of exposure, even if your partner was infected.  Please read them.

To your specific questions:

1) You need no further testing.

2) The rapid tests have higher rates of false positive results than lab-based tests.  However, a negative test is just as reliable and there is no difference in window period.

3) There is a small, theoretical risk for HPV, herpes and syphilis, which rarely are transmitted by genital contact without penetration.  But the risk is too low to worry about.  You don't need testing.

4) Correct, there is no test for HPV -- and there is no point in worrying about it, since most infections remain asymptomatic, cause no health problem, and go away.

Sorry doctor, forget mention: There is no penetration and no cum.

That was obvious in the question itself.

Thank Doctor. Two threads you referenced are hand -virginal contact. But mine is penis contact her virginal w/o penetration. These are little different.

You are right about test. Every time I do rapid test I scare of false positive> Thanks God so far so good.

The two threads are not only about hand-vaginal (not "virginal") contact.  They explain why HIV and most STDs are only transmitted by intercourse.

Dear Doctor, This is my last question for you. 5 weeks ago, I did blood draw at Anylabtestnow at Texas for full panel STD. The technician drawn my blood seem not very professional, and left a blue spots on my arm for 4-5 days. Since then, besides worry about “frottage” incident, I also concerned if there is  any chance a used needle was used on me to draw blood since he didn’t seems very professional. Last Monday I raised this concern at Plan Parenthood clinic when I did my HIV test (7 weeks after “Frottage” and 4 week after “blood drawn”; they recommend me to see some mental consulting and she even left some phone number for me to call for help. Does I am really crazy? I concern is really not necessary?  In your 30 years career, have you heard any infected case caused by blood draw for testing STD? Thank for your kindness.

Nobody re-uses needles.  If anybody ever caught HIV from having blood drawn, which is unlikely, it certainly hasn't happened in the past 20 years.  I agree 100% with the advice you received at Planned Parenthood.  Your thought processes on this are not normal and I agree you might benefit from professional counseling about it. Like Planned Parenthood, I suggest it out of compassion, not criticism.

That's the end of this thread.  No more comments, please.
