Does this mean I am HIV+?

Hi  all,

I have been on a combination of   PEP drugs for   the past week,  the drugs are lamzid and efavirenz.  2 days after taking the drugs I started growing ulcers on  my mouth (which has happened before) and I  think one  in my anus. Could this mean that I  am HIV positive? I am very scared. My exposure was sucking a nipple    of a woman for less than   2 seconds. My baseline test was negative but I   am curios to know do negative people react the same way as positive people      do to ARVs?. What could  the ulcer  in my anus  mean?

She called him what he is, a nutcase and a quack.

It's not productive to call a doctor a NUTCASE no matter how silly their advice is.Quack is more appropriate.

We already discussed with you, and you told us that YOU were the one who insisted on the nPEP.

You are likely having side effects from the meds, they are nothing to mess around with.  Certainly not something you should take when there was no need.  You should stop taking the nPEP, especially because YOU were the one who insisted the doctor give it to you.

My doctor  is very conservative when it    comes  to these things, better to    be safe than sorry, as   he put      it. And another thing is      that the lady is HIV positive so he did not want to take any chances.
