Donating Blood

Hello,

I recently donated blood and was happy until thinking about.  The nurse pricked my finger to test my iron levels.  Following that i squeezed a ball with my injuried finger during the donation to get the blood flowing.  I am concern I could have exposed myself from squeezing this lil dirty pump ball with my open wound.  I'm sure tons if not hundreds of people have touched that ball.  I'm afraid i could have contracted HIV from it being present on this reuseable ball then entering my wound on my injured finger.  

Should I get tested for HIV in 3 months time?   Am I at risk?

Thank you for your response.  What I am worried about is that other donaters are using the same ball with their bloody pricked fingers.  I could have be exposed to there blood from the ball.
