Dr. Handsfield, am I at risk? My mind needs to rest...

Dr. Handsfield,

My girlfriend took me to the strip club for my birthday, and she got me a couple lap dances from the same girl. During the lap dance, I felt something wet when she was sitting on me and my hand was squeezing her butt.  I was afraid of what it was.  I didn't know if it was vaginal fluids or sweat.  She was grinding pretty fast.  I moved my hand somewhere else less risky to me and wiped my hand on my pants. During the same dance, she was talking very dirty to me, and it got me very excited.

So, a couple minutes later, the dances were over and since I was so sexually charged and excited, I took my penis out and flashed her while I was straightening myself out (...I wasn't didn't presentable to go out into the public room).

1st concern: I had to touch my penis with the hand that felt the wetness to put it back in so I could go back to my girlfriend before I could wash my hands. I see everywhere contact wet vaginal fluids or secretions etc..

2nd concern: When I sat back down with my girlfriend, I wiped my eye still before washing my hands first. I started looking things up and found out that the eye is considered a mucous membrane, and contact with infected fluids and the mcous membrane can cause infection.

3rd. final concern:  Then, when we got back to her house, I got really nervous. She did give me  a hand job to help me release my tension.  The hand job of course wasn't the problem. My gf has been tested before and I know the info on hand to genital contact doesn't constitute infection.

I know dried fluid is basically dead fluid meaning no risk. But I don't know if I did have anything on my penis from the initial scare when I touched it and when I ejaculated at my girlfriend's house...could there have possibly been fluid to fluid contact.

I have OCD, and  suffer every day.  I read info and more info and it just scares me more. What is my risk so my mind can rest?

They call HIV/AIDS an STD because, except for needle exchange etc, you have to have sex to transmit it.  Duh.  What you did doesn't count.  Nobody in the world ever got HIV from exposure to secretions through their clothes or hand to genital contact.  There simply is no chance and you are not at risk.  Stop looking for bad news on the web.  The only health problem you are showing in this thread is your OCD.  If not under treatment, you should seek counseling about it.

I will have no further comment.

Thank you Dr. H....your answer reassures me a lot!!!

But my question was because.. when I flashed the girl ... I meant my penis was not covered and when I put it back in .. I had to had to touch it... I wasn't concerned with anything going through my clothes.

It was covered during the entire dance... no risk... when i flashed her at the end..when I was straightening myself up.. i showed it to her... meaning it was out...

Sorry.. if this seems redundant. I am getting treatment for the OCD .. I am on an SSRI now.

This will be my last comment

You had to touch your own penis and you somehow think that puts you at risk for HIV???   How do you take a pee?

This thread is over.

ok thanks.. i guess if there was probably something on my finger from that girl.. me touching my penis  with it on my hand wouldn't transmit hiv... nor wiping my eye... that's all i needed

thanks so much.. have a great sunday
