Duovir n effects?

My friend is taking duovir n as pep after 7 days of exposure; once he gets up he feels fatigued or tired until he takes a tab.. does this mean he is hiv infected? His exposure was at massage parlour where the possible penetration without condom was for 2 mins and there was slight ejaculation.. please help?

Yes he has started at doctors advice and doctor has suggested for a week. Is the exposure risk very high in this case?

This also seems suspicious for the doctor to do this because he needs to take for a month. What did you mean by "possible penetration"?
Anyone knows if they did penetration so "possible" doesn't make sense. does he have OCD? If so likely the doctor is just giving him the PEP to get rid of him.

Your friend did have a risk, however in my opinion, 7 days was too late to start PEP. Recommended time is within 72 hours of the exposure. has he started at an advice of a doctor?

The symptom alone does not tell whether he is infected or not. He should complete the course of the medicine prescribed and 4 weeks after completion, a test may be done
