EIA Rapid Test

Is 17 week negative EIA Rapid Test considered conclusive? My counsellor told that the window period for EIA Rapid test is 6 months and for Elisa it is 3-6 months. Was he correct? Is there any difference between Rapid EIA or Rapid ELISA?

Just a clarification. The counsellor told that the test is Rapid Card Test. I am assuming that it was  Rapid EIA. Does it make any difference to your answer?

Rapid tests are ELISA test and are conclusive at 3 month post exposure.
