EXWW and others: Fingering is No RISK better on meds... just one last worry

I am finally starting to get some clarity and strentgh on my situation today. Probably the medication... My only final worry is fluid under the fingernail during a 2 second finger. Is it possible that infected vaginal fluid could have gone under the fingernail and remained "active" that would not have washed away when washing hands or taking a shower..????? And then days later when cutting the fingernail days later and getting a small nick infect me if the fluid was still there. Does this sound crazy but this is really my only worry now...I am just asking this because when having unprotecteed size and being uncircumised the Dr said that HIV can live for hours due to moist environment.

I think that the Dr. comment that fingering is no risk is also assuming that many people always dont have the shortest of nails.

Please advise. Other then this I am alot more happy but still have a slight worry... Please help...

What are you thinking man, HIV survive two days in nails ?!.And even active !.

No way because it will be active only in WBC . WBC(white blood cells is only in blood not in finger nail.

Do you want to read more on this issue of hiv survival outside the body just read

Thanks for responding to me, others are sooo tired of it... I dont blame them at all. I just read on govertment websites that you should scrub under the fingernails if you come in contact with infectious fluid. So I thought even though I had a 2 second finger, fluid would have definately went slightly under the nail as they were very long and I thought that even if I washed my hands that it could have wedged under a nail or something and when I cut the nails I got a small nick which bled. And then I thought what if the virus was still there days later active under the nail...I wahsed my hands immediately after 20 minutes and likely water went also under this nail but if got me thinking... If this is not possible and even absurd. I will truly believe that I have a phobia and not an HIV risk. Please tell me if this is possible...

Thank you sooo sooo sooo much for being there...After my 3 month test I will send you all ALL Blacks rugby jersey for all your kind thoughts and help... A gift of thanks...

HIV is very difficult to survive out side the body just belive me HIV will not survive under your nail.

I am very much happy to know that you are realizing that you had only phobia.

Nicky,

Your fears are irrational, it doesn't happen that way, please follow what exww has told you. you were never at a risk.
