Early Signs of HIV Infection

Teak.

I had unprotected oral sex and intimate fondling with a man and intercourse with a condom. Now it is one month later and I have a painful sore just above the clitoris for two weeks and then it went away. And now I have a canker sore inside on the hard part of my gums above my teeth. Just one sore. Could these be symptoms that I have got herpes or HIV infection? I am very worried. I did not notice any blisters but I had burning urination and a yeast infection. I took a one day does of monistate and already it seems fine. No more burning, no more yeast. I had history of urinary tract infections and my doctor always gave me noroxin. Now I am again having this urination at night. I am so worried  because is it a sign that my immune system is dying.

Also, your negative test suggests that you never had a risk and didn't require a test at the first place.

Hey, hold on. You don't need no PCR, no nothing, you didn't have a risk. Oral sex won't give you the virus nor would fondling with genitals. Condom protected sex is safe sex and wouldn't warrant testing.

You are fine, see a gynecologist for all your problem, HIV is not the issue here. you are over reacting.

I bought a Home Access Health Corp kit. Not sure if this is a PCR_+DNA or what type of HIV testing this is, but it came back negative. It is more than 90 days post intimate behaviour so I feel I am okay. I will do now a test for Herpes 1 and 2.

I know you cannot diagnose, I just wanted to know how much I was at risk until I could take a test as I was worried.

THank you.
