Elisa test at 16 weeks

Hi everyone,

Atlast I got the courage to get tested for HIV after 16 weeks from my last encounter.

The test was ELISA, the result is 0.3 and negative.

I'm worried whether it is conclusive can I relax from now or should I test at 6 months mark.

Please advise.

Thanks,
Bobby.

Your test is conclusive because you had no risk from protected sex. Non risks do not have a window period because there is no exposure to HIV.

If someone had a risk, which you did not, any test taken at 12 weeks is conclusive.
