Erotic Massage

Hi Doctors,

Thanks for taking my question.  I posted on the community forum earlier, but I would like to give you a breakdown of the whole event to get your medical opinion.

Last night I went to a massage parlor here in the United States.  The woman was Korean, and she performed oral sex on me with a condom and then we had vaginal sex with the same condom on.  I also fingered her vagina for a while and later noticed that my fingers were dry and chapped.  We also kissed several times, but not much open mouth or tongue kissing. She gave me oral sex for a while and then we had vaginal sex for a while.  I eventually lost my erection so I withdrew my penis from her vagina and then she masturbated me with lubrication.

What has me concerned is that when I withdrew my penis from her vagina, I noticed that the condom was only covering about half of my penis shaft.  Therefore, the part of my penis shaft not covered by the condom was probably inside her vagina during the intercourse and had direct contact with her vaginal fluids.  She then removed the condom.  I don't think it broke.  I know that she applied some sort of lubrication to my penis afterwards to masturbate me, but I'm trying to remember if she had also applied lubrication to my penis in order to masturbate me for a little bit before she placed the condom on me to start performing oral sex and then later vaginal sex.  She also put the condom on me by using her mouth to roll it down my penis.  When she removed the condom, I think part of it touched my penis head because she kind of pulled the condom off, and in doing so, the side of the condom with vaginal fluids on it may have grazed against my penis head.  I asked her if she was safe and if she always used condoms, but she didn't understand me too well.

Taking all of the above into account:

1. What do you think my HIV risk was from this situation?

2. Should I get tested?

Thank you for addressing my situation and concerns.

Welcome to our Forum.  I will agree with the advice you have received on the Community site. The activities you describe did not put you at risk for HIV.  For starters, it is quite unlikely that your partner had HIV. Most commercial sex workers do not.  Even if she did, HIV is not spread by kissing of any sort or masturbation, even if your partner's genital secretions got onto you in the course of the activities.  Similarly, HIV is not spread by oral sex, with or without condoms or by condom protected genital sex, even if the condom slips down partially during sex or withdrawal.  Thus, in answer to your questions:

1.  No risk- none at all.
2.  The is no need for testing related to these activities or this exposure.
