Experience with finger ***** tests - tested positive?

Hi,

I left a message previously regarding the finger ***** blood internet rapid hiv tests.  Thanks for the response so far.

I was wondering if anyone has tested positive with these tests before and whether the line (test line) was very faint or not?

I took the test presumed i was negative (because of previous negative five week test) and when nothing showed up after a minute or so i went downstairs then came back later and there was a very faint weak line after about 40 mins from when i originally took test.  I am worried that the line may have faded.  Is it normal for both lines to reamin the same - like the control line which always seems to be very pronounced, even a few days after?

Thansk for your time

I will be having he test next week - i am very worried though.  Wouldn't you think that the rapid test would come out with a stron positive if i was infected instead of being faint?

Then why not go to a GUM clinic and have the test ran instead of worrying about a false positive?

I am scared of the GUM clinic.  It terrifies me. With rapid tests you can see what is happening in front of you.
Do you think I have a risk acording to testing stats?

You had unprotected sex, yes you had a risk. If you did this before why on earth did you do it again? Are you trying to get infected?

Then be responsible and get a correct and a legal test ran and quit with the guessing games. Sounds as though you need to to working on your drinking problem so this doesn't happen again.
