over 9 weeks ago i had relations with a unknown status girl from south korea at my uni (she is adament that she is nrgative and said she was tested but dont know wether to believe. out of the 4 times we had sex
in my neck and groin, although this had subsided within a couple of days by the time i went to the doctors who dismissed it as nothing...
within the whole period since my encounter i have been on/off experiencing fatigue and general weakness of the body and my eyes have been sensitive to sunlight.
when it came to the 8 week point just before christmas, i didnt really have any noticable symptoms, except for what i interpreted as swollen lyph glands in my groin, neck and armpits, which the doctor disagreed with,,,,i also had and still have a white hairy tongue wich seems to go slightly yellow nearer the back lumpy region....this still persists.
my anxeity had sort of leveled out, but when my ex gf propesed we get back together,,it hit new heights,.
last night i woke feeling ill, i vomited all my dinner up,,,,but then it continued on,,,for around 15 hours i have been vomiting repeatdly,,,,everything i drank. even water was coming back up...the vomiting has subsieded and im taking in small amounts of liquid now, although i could vomit if i tried,,,,when the worst of the vomiting was slowing down earlier today,,, diareah was starting to come, and since then i have been continuously on the toliet...all of this has been accompanied by a light fever wich has gradually got better,,,and nausia... all accompanied by my white hairy tongue wich seems to have worsened and dull aches in my armpits....
im very afraid, im now at over the 9 week point...
could this be ars???
i sign of hiv infection?
i will of course go for my conclusive test at three months....but am confused, the docs here say they have never seen a negative turn posotive after 6 weeks, ...is the 3 months to cover theirs and the lab/drug companies/test manafacturers backs?
or
are there cases of becoming positive after, in my case a 8 week negative?
im also confused, (i actually had 3 tests, twice at 6 weeks, once with the british nhs and once with a private doctor as i was so parranoid, then another test at 8 weeks with the nhs again) due to the fact that the first nhs doctor told me that three months is conclusive, but the private paid for doctor told me 'dont worry, your not hiv positive' then the nhs doctor who gave me the 8 week test said only 6 months is conclusive,, im really confused ecspecially when two doctors from the same medicl organisation gve me different advice....
im sorry theres a lot to read...,, one last thing..
my first test, a blood sample was taken. my second test blood sample was taken, mixed with a solution then dropped onto this absorbing type material in a plactic palltete type thing, a blue spot then appeared.
my 3rd test,, two blood samples were taken and the results were same day....
what is with all these different methods?
what is with my current symptoms?
what is wrong with me?!
can anxeity cause a white tongue or something that looks simialr to thrush?
would a white tongue due to hiv appear at this point, if were infected?
sorry for so much information,,,
im extremly worried and andy words of advie or help would be gratly aprreciated
3 months test from last exposure considered to be conclusive in 95% of HIV cases ..and some cases might take around 6 months to test postive .. but in your case you are not at risk at alll as your 3 months test is encouraging ... but i can see you are completly worried on this .. i suggest you to get a 6 month mark test also to put all your worries in rest ..
