False Negatives

Fingering Prostitute no other contact and no skin problems.  PCR DNA and Elisa at 18 days both Negative.  Seroconversion at 24 days possible?  I would have thought that a PCR DNA test would have picked up something like that only 5 days apart. From reading forums PCR DNA not a diagnotstic test but from there being false positives.  Also read fingering not a risk at ALL.  Am I correct and just imagining all of this or can the PCR DNA test really give off false negatives at 18 days.  Dr. H said in a post that the test is used to pick up virus at between 7-20 days.

I figured never at a risk so the negative is correct.  My nerves must have gotten the better of me.  Thanks
