False Positive

How come Tommy Morisson tested positive for HIV in 1996 and made a come back now and get a HIV negative... What I think is that Tommy is on retroviral drug and made the Virus level so low into undetectable level, and cleared away the antibodies in the blood? Or it was a really false positve,

Tommy Morrison tested positive in 1996 and in 2006 he claimed he tested negative in west virginia. But turns out he tested positive again in june 2007 in Arizona. His agent was responsible for the fraudulent report. He probably did it to get tommy back in the ring.His license is cancelled now.

There is a thing called seroreversion.
It is rarely seen in people with AIDS (Teak might know more on this).
But Tommy Morrison just lied about his test results.

Antibodies are always present (according to Teak too), it would always detect a positive result on a person who actually is positive.  No matter what AIDS Meds one is on, I do not think the results would give false-negative in any case due to sensitivity.  So the talk of serconversion from positive to negative is **** from Tommy.  

They can't possibly be only testing him on PCR.....more ****.

no, once a person tests positive, his/her ser-status never changes. The viral load goes down to undetectable values because of antiretroviral drugs but the HIV antibodies are always present because the body is constantly trying to fight the virus.anti-bodies never disappear.

I think it's only seen in people with advanced HIV disease, where the immune system is severely damaged.
