Fear of contracting Hiv

Last sunday i was very hungry.it was late night and all restaurants were closed. So i went to a nearby chinese fast food centre which was a bit untidy and dirty. But i was so hungry and ate food there. I doubt whether the forks and plates were washed well.
I came to know from my neighbor doctor that the the cook is a hiv positive person and he is in final stage. Now i am starting to shiver. Are there any chances of contacting hiv from used forks suppose he used it just before i went there and some of his blood remained on that fork. He may have cut his finger and some blood may be mixed with that food. Am freaking out.
my fear got worse because i have mouth ulcers and a open cut in my mouth at that time. I dont want to die this early. kindly help me . Thanks.

I concur with zamzam and would also add that the only way that you could contract Hiv from this cook is if you had unprotected penerative sex with him or shared iv drug works, this never happened so there is no Hiv concern at all.Just put this all behind you and it is very safe to eat food there because there is no other way he could infect you. You're safe.

Sorry for asking again. But i read that if the cook has some of his blood on the fork and if it touches my mouth ulcers, there is a small possibility of contracting hiv. Is it true or a general myth??

There is no risk to you in this situation.  None at all.  You will not get HIV from eating in a restaurant where the cook has HIV.  Even if the restaurant has poor hygiene standards or blood got in your food.

Stop freaking yourself out about something that isn't a concern.
