Fingering with cut on finger

Fingering with cut on finger

Yesterday i went to a CSW in thailand and had oral. During this for about 5 seconds i fingered her vagina fairly deep and also inserted my finger anally very slightly for about 2 seconds. 2 Hours later that evening i see that i have a (fairly small) cut on the finger i used and there is some dried blood there, im not sure when it happened. I think it was after but im just not sure. If this has happened just before the fingering what is the risc factor ?? She works at a place that is supposed to have HIV tests evrery 6 months, but i dont know how much that statement can be trusted.
How high risc is this sort of thing ?
Thanks

There are several factors to consider here.  My guess is that your risk is low but not totally so.  The variables include:

1.  The cut.  If you cut your finger after the event, you have no risk.
2.  Your partner.  If she was HIV negative, you have no risk (if they say they get tested regularly, they probably do).
3.  Your exposure was brief, even if she was infected.

Putting all of thes facts together, my guess is that this was a no risk exposure.  If she was infected AND you had cut yourself JUST before you used your finger (i.e. open, recent wound) there is a chance (still less than 1% although, to be honest it is hard to really calculate the odds).  My advice:

1.  Don't worry
2.  Ignore any symtpms, they are meaningless
3.  Get an HIV test in 6 weeks.  At this time over 95% of infections that were going to occur would be casuing positive blood tests, meaning that, in your circumstance, you could be VERY, VERY sure you were not infected.  Hope this is helpful.  EWH
