First time having insertive sex!!!

Question - I just bottomed for the first time last night (for about 10 minutes) but I dont know if the guy used the condom correctly (but a condom was on for sure). Would I have been at risk. I used a condom last night with my insertive part and came into the condom (which didnt break). Should I get testing based on the fact that I didnt know if the condom was put on correctly by the guy?

Protected sex is safe sex.

Think about it this way-the guy was happy to use condoms, do you think he would have used them wrongly or in an unsafe way? You had sex in a way which is surefire to protect you from HIV transmission unless a condom failed, which from your description it didnt.

I got a sore throat for 2 weeks about a month after this incident. This wouldn't be HIV related would it? It really caught me off guard. My doctor said it was Strep and I got antibiotics and the sore throat came back but mild. No other symptoms.

No it would not be HIV related. Also it would be wise to always use condoms like you plan on doing but also talking to partners about HIV and STD status.

Thanks Vance. It really shook me up for having a sore throat a month after the incident. I had a bad case of diarrhea for the past day that has shaken me up but I'm gonna monitor that. Thanks for the answer man!
