Follow up question to strip club encounter

This is in regards to my earlier strip club encounter.I am concerned because a week and half later my bottom lip was painful and a whitehead appeared on the middle of the bottom lip which I scraped away. It returned the next day, had a small scab and was gone within the next day.  Since then my upper abd was painful including my luq and ruq.   No ulcer noticed. I then noticed two yellow spots on the inside of my lip which went away and scabbed over. No ulcer. I had a clear fluid filled vesicle on the inside of my lip which was only painful after I noticed on the inside of my right upper lip. No prodromal pain/itching. Healed. I then had a small blister on the inside of my left upper lip, which my Dr. feels is a canker sore. Within the last two days my moustache became itchy and inflamed prior to shaving. I couldn’t tell if there were blisters but small bumps seemed to be under the whiskers, after shaving.   I have noticed areas of dryness, not particularly redness, that do not seem to blister on my upper cheeks below my eye and lower cheek next to my moustache. My Dr. is concerned that I contracted herpes due to my mouth symptom and has put me on valtrex.    I have also had irritation and burning to the inside of my thighs but have seen no blisters.  A painful area arose on my right thigh which scabbed over but did not seem to ulcerate.  I have not had any blisters to my penis or scrotum although my head has been irritated. Lasty my girlfriend had one cold sore two weeks after my encounter. Six to seven weeks later she had what seems to be a viral infection which has lasted 8-10 days including weakness, fatigue, rash on both sides of her face although no blistering, and eye pain. No fever noticed. Is the itching on my face herpes and could valtrex lessen the outbreak? Would herpes appear on my thigh without appearing on my genitals or is this autoinnoculation? And are my girlfriends symptoms possibly possible std and could she have facial herpes from my face?

This is the wrong forum for this question, which isn't related to HIV.  Even the STD forum is only borderline appropriate, since oral herpes (whether acquired by kissing or less intimate contact) isn't considered an STD.

I'll just say that when a doctor diagnoses oral herpes with sufficient certainty that s/he prescribes Valtrex, most likely the diagnosis is correct.  It so, you probably could have caught it either from the kissing event at the strip club or from your regular partner, since she apparently has oral herpes herself.  It also is possible you have had oral herpes all along, and this is just a recurrent outbreak -- although that probably is unlikely if you haven't had such problems in the past.  Whatever the cause of your oral symptoms, almost certainly herpes is not the cause of the lesion on your thigh.  Autoinoculation is uncommon, and it would be especially unlikely while taking Valtrex.  But the only way to know for sure is to show the thigh lesion to your doctor.  I also doubt your girlfriend's oral cold sore is a new herpes infection, and certainly herpes is not the cause of her other "viral" symptoms.

All these questions are best addressed by your own doctor, who apparently is knowledgeable about herpes.  If any doubt continues about the cause of your girlfriend's symptoms, she also should see a health care provider; ideally, both of you should go to the same doctor.

I apologize for putting this on the wrong forum in fact it was an accident. I thank you for your response anyway, and your assessment.
