I recd oral sex 8 days ago and recip for a short time not to completeion. I asked a question a few days ago and was politely told it is not a risk . Problem is I have had the flu for a week , and have broken out w a rash on my back. I also have swollen lymph nodes . The flu started approx 24 hours afterwards.. I have lost 6 pounds. I did an oratest , which I know is a  waste of $ . It was negative. . I am truly suicidal and am not sure I can wait the 4 & 12 weeks necessary for coming mfiqtion one way or the other. I rarely get sick and this has me a wits end.. Not sure what I am asking but I just would like to hear if there have been similar situations where the person was negative

You guys r truly great people doing this work. It humbles me how you are able to continuously answer similar questions Over and over.while effectively holding hands over the net. It makes me feel all I need to do more for others..  Giving money is not enough.. Time is more precious

YEP.....anxiety fueled by guilt, regret and shame....which leads to "what iffing" about HIV.  That's par for the course.  You didn't have a risk.....if you cannot put it behind you, and this continues to cause you a lot of anxiety, you may need to talk to someone, professionally.

If you are truly suicidal, then you need to reach out to someone who can help you through these issues.

Oral sex is not considered a risk for transmission of HIV. You could not have acquired HIV from the exposure you describe. You don't even require testing for this incident.

Further, as has been stated on this site multiple times, symptoms are never used to diagnose HIV. The only way to confirm or exclude an HIV infection is through testing. Which, again I don't think is needed in your situation, other than to help alleviate your extreme anxiety.

Yea, try everyone who's posted the exact same thing (which there are MANY MANY posters like you).

You didn't have a risk, the symptoms are irrelevant.  If you're suicidal, you need to seek help ASAP.
