For God's sake...

does anyone actually read the posts that are on the forum before they ask a question?  we have been bombarded with 1)  shaking hands...2)blood on chapped lips and more NON RISK questions than i've ever seen before.  this is getting extremely repetitive.

hiv is spread through...

unprotected vaginal/anal intercourse
sharing of iv drug works
mother to child

you do not get hiv by touching someone or something.  period!  hiv becomes inactive when outside its host and exposed to air...period!  you cant drink it...get it from a hangnail or chapped lips...period!

I have just been Gabberflasted myself.

My fave is...."You wouldn't just be on here giving false info about right?"

Why yes, as a matter of fact you caught me...and I BET that tiny spot on your arm was a result of someone pricking you in a nightclub/gas station/restaraunt.

ARGH!!!!!!!

it's one thing to be uneducated regarding hiv...it's another thing to "think" that your chapped lips, hangnail, finger, etc., is different than the umpteen posts where this has already been addressed...OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER!!!!!!!  and then someone wants to question our one and two word answers?  amazing!  truly amazing!!!
