Freshly Popped Pimple and vaginal Fluid

by bat_boy, Jan 30, 2007 12:00AM
Hello Everyone! I just want to ask a couple of questions, so here it goes.

A few months ago, I hook up with a girl in Indonesia with unknown status, we did protected sex with condoms. I wouldn't want to elaborate more, because i know that if a condom does not fail, it is a very low risk situation. But to my horror, I noticed that in the pubic area of my penis, I have a freshly popped pimple. Before sex, it is still not an open wound, but during sex (she was on top), it was popped open. my questions are:

1. The pimple is open, so does that means that if vaginal fluid contacted it, it is a high risk act?

2. how likely it is for me to contract HIV?

thanks

That must have been a pretty big pimple & some rough sex! Relax, that carried no risk at all.  Protected sex is protected sex.  Nobody ever got infected through an open pimple.

lol! actually, it is a pretty big pimple indeed. but not rough, it just so happens that she's on top and she grinded me a lil bit, that's how it popped. so no testing suggested?

No testing suggested.  But a good laugh is.  I don't mean to minimize your fear but you actually have nothing to worry about.  Stay safe:)

As an ex nurse next time you think it is a pimple go to  the doctor and ask them to do a scarping of it and make sure it is not herpes. You can have what you think is a pimple and it actually be herpes. I am not trying to scare you, I just have seen it happened and its a myth that you have to have more than 1 herpes lesion. You can in fact have just 1 lesion during an outbreak.
Good luck and I think you will be fine as the condom didnt break.
