Fever is considered a symptom.  It is probably the primary symptom.  Symptoms are apparently never a good sign/indicator though.  Mnay things besides HIV cause fevers (i've had a fever and am also hoping its not ARS).  Some people who are infected have no symptom at all.  ONly thing conclusive is a test.  This forum pretty much recommends a 6 week antibody as a very strong indicator and a 3 month test as conclusive.

yeah, but I want to know if fever is present always when there is ARS. Can anybody help ?

It is not always present, but is usually it is. Whenever someone posts on the other forum that they didn't have a fever, Dr. HHH says that it is a strong indicator that they are not going through ARS.
