God help me

by tom123456, Oct 30, 2007 06:24AM
On a heavily drunken night, I had sex with supposedly very low grade  SW. It was my first time. I am a 31 years old uncircumcised male from Sydney. It occurred on 7th of July 2005. I had two episodes of sexual intercourses. On First episode, I asked her to put two condoms on, and she performed me oral sex for few minutes then I ended up having vaginal intercourse with both the condoms on. Couple of minutes later I ejaculated in her, I was on top. After few seconds, I withdrew my penis from her and saw the condom was still intact. She pulled the condoms off me .She threw those condoms in a bin and wiped my penis with a clean tissue paper. Immediately after drying me out, she put another condom on and started giving me oral, after a while I asked her for a tit **** and she performed accordingly. I believe the condom was still on during this time. Then I had another vaginal intercourse, this time doggy style. This lasted for minutes and I withdrew from her (I did not ejaculated in her). She started giving oral again till I came. This time I don’t remember her pulling the condom off my penis but I do remember my penis was dry when she gave me the tissue paper. I did not see any fluid on my penis while I was wiping it with a paper. I went to the toilet and couldn’t pee for a second and felt bit burning sensation while peeing. Next day I woke up with sore throat, short breathing, low grade fever, fatigue, all the ARS symptom It got worst day by day I got tested for all stds  on the 25th (1st of August 2005) day of post exposure and on six week marks (18th of august) all tests came negative. For Hiv, My blood sample was analyzed by Micro particle Enzyme Immunoassay (MEIA) for simultaneous qualitative detection of P24 antigen and HIV 1 and HIV 2. 1) What are my odds to get HIV transmission through the exposures described above considering the fact that I had 13 standard drinks with in ten hours. Use of two condoms is not considered as a safe practice and my second episode I can’t recall condom been intact. 2) I developed this awful burning mouth syndrome right after the exposure which has not gone away since and my penis still burns while peeing or ejaculating. 3)I have been  doing  blood  tests( CBC, KFT, LFT, Thyroid  ) in every three months since the exposure all seems to be  normal .I have seen  few doctors about the condition (BMS)  no body seems to have any clue. My GP has put me on 30mg of Avanga (antidepressant)   a day. This has reduced the pain but hasnot cured it. I have been on Avanga for about two months now. I have heard BMS is  very uncommon with male if it happens it can be due to hiv infection, if it is due to hiv are both the tests I had were false negative. I have not had any sexual intercourse since then. It was my first and may be a last. I visited SSHC during that period, they advised me heterosexual sex is low risk (in their term 0.003 per exposure) in sydney as HIV infection are high with homosexuals,  and with a use of barrier, it nails to null. Thus my SIX week HIV test can be considered conclusive. If that’s the case why am I having these symptoms lasting more than two years. What about other stds ? My LFT, CBC, and KFT tests all are normal recent one done about two months ago. I have not seen any physical symptoms other than BMS and frequent penile burning sensation. Is there any chance that exposure was in fact higher than assessed by the people at SSHC and my tests were not conclusive. In your field have u seen anybody tested negative on six week and tested positive later. Can I rely on those tests? I am very depressed. Plz help. I don’t know how will I live if  I am +.

You were never at risk, except for dubbling two condoms which could have caused a failure. It only takes one condom. You don't need to test.

6 week test is conclusive for your exposure. Intact condom equals no risk. You can always test now because it is 3+ months since your exposure. Why stress and question, when you can test and solidify a doubt?
