Going crazy...HIV rash? Possible contraction...?? help...

Hey guys,

I already know everything about waiting for 3 months to be certain and not diagnosing by symptoms but still...I want to see what everyone elses thoughts are on this.

I'm a young gay male and haven't been sexually active for over 2 years because I was in a relationship. Since recently becoming single about 6 months ago I've had sex with two different guys.

The first guy was pretty much exactly one month ago. The second was last week. I'm going to break down exactly what actions took place in each scenario to help explain the situation.

First guy (1month ago): There was no intercourse at all. Just oral sex where I performed on him. He did not ejaculate in my mouth but I at certain times did taste precum.

Second guy (1 week ago): I performed oral sex on him and again he did not ejaculate in my mouth but there was a presence of precum. We also briefly had intercourse WITH a condom where I was the receptive partner. It only lasted 5 minutes or less because I found it hurt too much. We did not use any lube but the condom was wet from saliva. When I removed the condom from his penis it did not seem to be broken at all, but I didn't investigate it thoroughly so who knows.

Anyway, this week I've had a soar throat that makes my ear hurt as well. Common cold type of symptom. I also had diarhea for about 2 days which went away. That's when I started to research HIV and got really worried. I took an HIV test despite it not being three months just for reassurance to calm me down. It came back negative. The past two days I've had a red rash on my chest....there's about 6 or 7 flat red dots on my chest each in different places.....

I basically have to wait a full 3 months before testing again but is this an HIV rash? I'm so worried I can hardly sleep :(

you dont have to "investigate" to know if there was condom failure...it's catastrophic...not something you have to guess / wonder about.

you had NO risk...hiv is not transmitted through oral sex or protected sex.  your symptoms are not hiv related and testing is not warranted.

KUDOS for using condoms ! ! !

You don't have every symptom, you don't have the main symptoms. Stop with symptoms, they will tell you nothing about HIV.

If the condom was broken then you would have known when taking it off. "maybe" this or "maybe" that is not going to make you have a risk.

yes but maybe the condom broke and I didnt know? Or maybe I had a canker sore or a small cut in my mouth that precum got into.... and if i didnt have a risk...why do i have every symptom nearly :(

If you google those "symptoms" I bet you come up with 100 other things that they are. It has nothing to do with HIV as you did not have a risk.

I also forgot to mention that I had two canker sores in my mouth...one of them went away in about a day or two on it's on and was on my gums.

The second one was on the back left side of my tongue and when I scraped my finger on it, the white part actually came off....

All of these symptoms say they are HIV symptoms online....
