Going on week 6 feel good except these symptoms. help

Low risk exposure 6 weeks ago, been on lots of meds for possible UTI/STD (Cipro/Doxyciline) but stopped all meds about 4 days ago.

I have a weird sore throat, its not scratchy or painful, but when i swallow it feels likes i have something in my throat. Its hard to explain..occasionally i get a hoarse feeling and hae to gurgle/cough it away. My stool has also been weird in the past 2 weeks...its not diareaha, I've noticed what I think is blood in it...its like little pieces of red (looks like the middle of an olive, the pememento part).

It doesnt feel like the throat thing is getting better, it doesnt feel like its getting worse. Sometimes my stool has the red pieces, other times not.

Any concern/link to ARS/HIV?

low risk :) protected oral and vaginal, but about 10 seconds of unprotected oral before the condom went on (was in Spain and got escort).

Overall i feel real good, i just cant shake this throat thing...but like i said its not sore scratchy...its not like i need to take cough/throat medicine. My stool is a bit concerning, but maybe being on Cipro/Doxy for 2 weeks can cause some stomach issues? From what I understand the brighter the red in stool (if its blood) means the lower in the track the bleeding is...if its black stool its from the stomach/upper tract. I had one day where my stool was black (i mean it wasnt brown, but could have been a real dark brown)...but generally my stool is brown , with some red pieces in it.

I've also been under SO my stress about this, but have learned in teh past 2 days that the risk was low and i've actually getting back to normal (which is why i think im feeling a bit better).

I'm just concerned about all the timing...

Stop being concerned about the timing. You weren't at risk for HIV. It's as simple as that.
Look, you could spend the next 6 weeks stressing about this or you could realise that you were as responsible as you could have been and that means you are HIV negative. I know nothing I can say can make you believe that. Take a full STD screen any time now, pick up negative results and move one. Thousands of medical conditions lead to a scratchy throat. I bet your anxiety has led to dry mouth, which is one cause. I bet you haven't been sleeping well either, which weakens the body.

Bottom line; Your HIV negative. You don't need to test. But if you do, there will only be one result; non-reactive:)

I had a similar throat problem and went to and ENT.  He said that term for tightness in the throat is 'globus'.  He sujested Prilosec and it has worked so far.  BTW stress over hiv can cause ulcers or other anxiety related issues.
