. I am planning on getting tested soon (i'll probably wait about two months past exposure which is supposed to give a 95% accuracy reading). As panicked as I am already, I got a call last week from an ex-gf (we broke up a few months ago) saying she had tested for gonnorrhea and was postive and that I was the last person she had sex
, I would perform oral sex on her and I assume that's how I got it as I was tested. I ahve read that having sex with someone who has HIV and gonnorrhea can increase the ease of transmission, I have also read that having gonnorrhea can increase the ease of contraction. I can't say for sure how long I've had the Gon. and I also can't say for sure whether or not I got it from my ex or the sexual encounter I'm worried about now.
Assuming I had Gonnorhea (Gonorrhea) before the sexual encounter with the transgendered person (and lets assume that I've had the gonnorhea (Gonorrhea) for at least a year ( I don't know but I figure the worse case scenario is that I've had it for awhile and it hasn't been treated until now) how greatly does that increase my chances of contracting HIV if I was in fact exposed to it?
If my partner had Gonnorhea (Gonorrhea) how greatly does that increase their chances of transmitting it?
IF anyone has specifics that would be preferable.
Thanks.
