status. He did state he did not know, and the last time he was tested was nearly 2 years ago. I asked how many partners he had since then. He said about 6-7. I guess this is all a moot point for what I have to say:
Anyways, concerned about the following risk(s):
- He performed oral on me. I did not perform oral on him.
- We made out all night long. Deep, longstanding French-kissing.
- MAJOR CONCERN: He was rubbing the tip of his penis
in the past,…and the last time I had anal sex was about a year ago. He proceeded to put on the condom…entered inside…but then went flacid (a.k.a. “limp”). He pulled out..with the condom on. He said that "condoms and him do not mix". Inside I was and am still freaking out. No ejaculation occurred at all during the night…from neither him nor me. Even during the oral sex. Even if he were positive....is this a risk?
He agreed to get tested with me next week..since he said "I could use the support".
I know. Stupid of me.
Do I need something called PEP I have been reading on different posts on here?
Please advise…I see that I many only have a limited time to get an answer..and I think this would be faster than writing to the doctors on here.
Since I had anal fissures in the past, I was wondering if any amount of pre-seminal fluids would be a HUGE risk for contracting HIV...since anal fissures are minor cuts around the rectal area. Also...how deep must he have penetrated in order for this to have been a risk..if indeed there was one? Sorry for pestering. And a huge thanks to anyone who knows and answers.
thanks to the person who has just answered.
May I ask also, What circumstances would need to exist for him to have given HIV to me..if the fissures were significant. I do not think most ppl know what fissures are...and believe me..I would not wish them on my worst enemy.
Does the effectiveness of HIV rely on the semen? meaning that this person would have had to ejaculate in me? or does the presence of semen on the anal area pose a problem?
i am sorry. I am not saavy in areas related to health. i do know about condoms and they do prevent the spread of HIV and other std's. COuld someone instruct me on why this risk was not a ...how do they say it in your US "high risk"?
If he were to have pre-seminal fluids come into contact with the anal area...which already had minor cuts due to fissures, would this still present a problem? every now and then I see blood on toilet paper due to the fissures.
Also, I had read somewhere (and I cannot remember where), but I heard about something called "Receptor cells" for HIV. Does anyone know if these "receptor cells" exist in the anal area? And if so .where? Though he had just barely penetrated me w/o the use of a condom...i am petrified of thinking the pre-seminal fluids would have infected me. Would me using saliva on the tip of his penis have reduced the risk? (I had licked my hand and then his penis before he tried to prod around down there.)
there is very small amount of hiv in saliva not in the amounts it takes to infect and saliva damages the virus but if he penetrated you unprotected then you have a risk....
I appreciate your answer and all the answers I have received. I decided to post to the Dr\.'s Forum not b/c I do not believe anyone on here....just b/c this is really bothering me inside...and I feel that this is a major issue that needs to be addressed on a doctor level. Something I don't want to play around with.
For anyone that is knowledgeable regarding anatomy:
IF ejaculation occured on the anal area (near the rectal opening) would this still pose as a HIV risk? I was curious to see exactly where the mucous membrane started in the anal area.
