On 03/04/14 I had blood drawn for a standard STD panel. Within 24 hours all results were received except the HIV 1/2 EIA AB Screen. The column next to the test name, for results, indicated that the test results would be available 03/13/14.
Is this bad news? How long/what is the turn-around-time for this particular test?
I had the same test done at 11 weeks after oral sex exposure it came back the next day... Still feel sick after 3 negative test I'm getting 1 more test this week at 18 weeks after exposure... Could be a good think they waiting longer

I had a relationship from August-October. With a male of unknown status, said he was negative for all STDs.
In November, and January I took a oraquick at home test -- both negative.
I just went yesterday for an annual pap smear and had blood drawn for a std panel. On the patient results webpage, I have non-reactive results for hep b and c, syph., but the HIV test has the date of 03/13/14 next to it...
I am just wondering if this test normally takes so long if it's sent to a lab?
