HIV 1&2 antibody screening
Dear Doctor,
I am heavily infected with Hepatitis A. I took an
HIV
Acute hiv infection
Asymptomatic hiv infection
Elisa/western blot tests for hiv
Early symptomatic hiv infection
Hiv
Hiv infection
Histoplasmosis, disseminated in hiv patient
Hives (urticaria) - close-up
Hives (urticaria) on the arm
Hives (urticaria) on the back
Hives (urticaria) on the back and buttocks
antidody test the other day and it reported me as
borderline
Borderline personality disorder
reactive
Reactive arthritis
with the cutoff at 1.00 and my reading at 1.67. I havent had any
sex
Buccal smear
Causes of sexual dysfunction
Child abuse - sexual
Delayed ejaculation
Erection problems
Female sexual dysfunction
Inhibited sexual desire
Orgasmic dysfunction
Puberty and adolescence
Safe sex
Sexual intercourse - painful
in 3 years now. I have only had unprotected
sex

3 times with the same girl but that was a long time ago. So even if I did get infected 3 years ago, could I still be
borderline

reactive? or am I showing borderline reactivity because of the strong hepatitis A virus that I have. Please explain, I am worried.

There is not a borderline reading. Either you are infected or your not. HAV, will not alter your HIV test. What did they say when you took the test?

well, the only thing said on the report was that the cutoff is 1.00 and my level is at 1.67 and then it said borderline reactive. It also asked for a retest in 6 weeks. didnt say whether i am infected or not.

They should have ran a confirmative test. You've went long enough and there was no need in waiting.
