HIV Afraid

Sir, Today when I went to lab for testing HIV. After giving blood for testing in lab.

While coming out from lab, A small piece of glass ( tube ) with blood on it. this pocked inside my foot toe finger.

it slightly went into the skin.

I am afraid that the small piece of glass with slight blood, will cause HIV.

Can hiv survive on the piece of glass.

It didn't happen in a lab that is an HIV lab that the viruses they work with are over a million time stronger than what is found in the in the public. You never had an exposure.

HIV is not alive. It's either active or inactive. HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.

HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug users
Mother to child

Thanks, I Read on of the website, it is saying that researchers says that hiv lives for 24 hrs in the dry blood.

I am afraid, a peice of glass ( dry blood) went inside my skin - is any risk

No it cannot your thoughts are completely irrational. Hiv does not maintain infectiousness outside of the body, you can move on with your life now.
